Wisdom 11:14

They thirsted, but their thirst was so different from the thirst of those who do what is right! In the end, they stood in awe of the man they had mockingly rejected long ago because he had been set adrift and exposed.
For when they heard that by their punishments the others were benefited, they remembered the Lord, wondering at the end of what was come to pass.
The Egyptians had refused to have anything to do with that man who, long before as a baby, had been thrown out and exposed; but as things worked out, they came to be amazed at him. The righteous never suffered a thirst like theirs.
For though they had mocked and rejected him who had been cast out and abandoned long ago, in the final outcome, they marveled at him, since their thirst proved unlike that of the righteous.
For the one whom long before they had cast out, exposed, and rejected with scorn, they regarded with admiration at the end of the events, when they experienced thirst vastly different from that of the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marvelled at him, when they felt thirst in a different way from the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marvelled at him, when they felt thirst in a different way from the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marveled at him, when they felt thirst in a different way from the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marveled at him, when they felt thirst in a different way from the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marveled at him, for their thirst was not like that of the righteous.
For though they had mockingly rejected him who long before had been cast out and exposed, at the end of the events they marveled at him, for their thirst was not like that of the righteous.
For at the end of the befalling, they worshipped (or honoured) him, whom they scorned (had) cast out in shrewd (or depraved) putting forth; and thou didest not in like manner to just men. [Whom forsooth in a shrewd (or depraved) putting out they scorned cast afar, and into the end of that that fell, they marvelled; not (in) like manner to rightwise men doing.]
